 UPCOMING EVENTS:   

Missions Sunday: April 28th:
We will have 2 Missions’ Giving Days. The first one is Sunday, April 28th. The congregation will have the opportunity to give toward the mission efforts that College Hill supports (Sunset, EEM, Chimala Malawi, and Leipzig). Prayerfully consider how you can help with this great ministry.

Eastern European Mission Benefit Event: April 25th at 7 PM at Fort Worth Club 
Hungary is asking for 106,000 Bibles for their public schools.  If you want to be a part and would like to attend please RSVP to 1-800-486-1818 or www.eem.org/events

 

Christ’s Haven for Children Spring Work Day is Saturday April 27th from 8 AM to Noon at their campus in Keller. Partner with family and friends to help maintain and repair their grounds and facilities. Lunch provided. Register now at 817-431-1544 or email Celena@ChristHaven.org

onsider purchasing Action Pacs. Put in the back of the fellowship hall by May 17th. Financial contributions are also welcome. Give checks to an elder or Stephen Mead.

 
Wedding Gift Shower
Courtney Collis and her fiancé, Nick Clark will be married in April. We would like to honor the couple the night of our church wide Fellowship in the Park on Sunday evening, May 5th.
If you would like to contribute toward a Gift for them, please give your money to Debra Mead or Brenda Rees by Sunday, April 28th.

 

WORSHIP & PICNIC in the PARK: Sunday, May 5th ~ 4 to 9 PM ~ Green Valley Park ~ Smithfield Rd
We will have a congregation-wide evening of Worship, Food and Fun at the park’s large pavilion with a cookout meal, a time of worship, and plenty of time to enjoy the park. Bring games to play.Visit with your Community Group Leader to find out what to bring! 

 

Men’s Golf Tournament: Saturday May 4th at 1 PM at Waterchase Golf Club. Cost is $59 & includes a hot dog lunch. All levels welcome. Text Craig Vogl, your name and average score.

 

Senior Sunday: May 19th
Seniors will be honored during Morning Worship & at the Potluck Congregational Luncheon
immediately after AM services. 
A High School Senior Gift Table will be available in the fellowship hall by May 8th if you would like to give a Senior a gift or card.
Our seniors are: Cameron James, Jazmin Medina, Odalis Mendoz, Katie Samsill , and Daniel Simpson

 

Weekly/Monthly Reoccuring Events:

Tuesday Night Men’s Bible Study : Last Class April 23rd. Tuesday evening, at Randall Cady’s home at 6:30 PM. All men are invited. We will resume in the fall.

Game Night is Monday, May 6th, from 6-9 PM in the fellowship hall. All invited. Bring snacks & drinks to share and bring your favorite game. 

Wednesday Fest:  April 24th Poppyseed Chicken will be served from 5:30 to 6:15 PM in the fellowship hall. Pricing: Adults-$4 and children, 3-12 years- $2.50. Visitors eat free. 

Wednesday Night Bible Classes for Children 3 years through 12th grade are available. 

Looping for the Lord: April 28th, at 3:30 PM in the fellowship hall.  Remember items can be made at home and brought to the building. Contact Lisa Cox with any questions.

Spanish Monthly Luncheon is Sunday, May 12th, after morning worship in the fellowship hall.

Wednesday Ladies Morning Bible Class meets each week starting Wednesday, at 10 AM in the Adult Classroom A. Nursery provided.  Last class id May 8th and will resume in the fall.

ESL classes  Tuesdays, from 6-7 PM in the fellowship hall. If you know someone who would like to learn English.

“Piece Makers Quilting” : Resume in the fall on Monday and Tuesdays,  at 9 AM in the fellowship hall. All ladies are welcome to participate. See Beverly Neely for more information.

Monday Night Women’s Bible Study  Our last class is May 6th at 7 PM at Rachel Cady’s.
